- The main test is more than 183 days in a consecutive 12-month period linked to the relevant tax period. Residence can also arise with fewer days if more time was spent in Uzbekistan than in any other country during that tax period.
- The guidance lists 5% for residents’ dividends and interest. Work physically performed in Uzbekistan can create local-source income even with an overseas payer.
